1950's Stern Male Voice-Over Copy:
If lesbians, the female homosexuals, were allowed to marry, the consequences would be dire. Flannel, traditionally reserved for our upstanding woodsmen, would be seized by sexual deviants. The female homosexual may seem harmless at first—even normal—but below the surface, they are sick. Sick with an obsession with flannel. They would undoubtedly use subliminal messages to brainwash the general public. Soon, everyone would wear flannel! Your neighbor! Your boss! Your sister! Your friends! Your landlady! Even your dog! Bikinis would fade into non-existence! The adult industry would crumble! Flannel would contribute to global warming, melting our polar ice caps! Society as we know it would come to an end!
